Welcome to Chicago Fireplace & Chimney Company. We are the top fireplace and chimney service center in the Chicago area, and we service all of our customers’ fireplace repair and maintenance issues in both the metro area and the surrounding suburbs.
One crew, the whole system
Most contractors do either masonry or appliances. We do both, which matters more than it sounds: a rebuilt chimney with the wrong liner behind it is still dangerous, and a beautiful new gas insert vented into a cracked flue is worse than the fireplace it replaced.
So a typical job sheet of ours reads: rebuild the chimney from the roofline up, form and pour a new concrete crown, sweep both flues, install two Ventinox stainless steel liners, restore the smoke chamber, rebuild the firebox and fit a stainless cover. One visit, one responsibility.

How we work safely
Access gets planned before anyone picks up a trowel. We set full scaffold towers on church chimneys, work from high lifts over slate roofs so nothing gets walked on, and open up walls when that is genuinely the only way to find out where a previous contractor vented a furnace.
